This handmade jewelry dish is a simple catchall for rings, earrings, bracelets, and other small pieces of jewelry. At 4“ wide, it fits easily on a nightstand, dresser, bathroom counter, or desk without taking up much space.

Choose the finish that suits your style. Natural lets the pale, creamy maple speak for itself. Charred is burned dark to bring out the grain, for something bolder. Wooden jewelry holders are sealed with tung oil for a soft, hand-rubbed feel.

Hand-turned in my shop from locally sourced wood, no two are exactly alike. Grain, color, and small natural variations are unique to the piece you receive.

The Story

It started with a few blocks

A friend of mine donated some wood scraps to me for creative sessions where I make non-traditional pieces. These maple blocks came from a long plank that was cut down into square pieces. My original plan was to make small catch-all dishes but after turning them to a circle, I realized they may be too small to catch anything your pockets are holding. But not small jewelry. These small pieces add a touch of nature to your bathroom counter or night stand, and make the perfect gift any time of year.
